Jonathan Kwock is a musical theatre performer currently based out of Orlando, FL. He was born in Honolulu, HI and grew up in Saint Louis, MO where he attended Saint Louis University High School and performed with the MUNY Teens.
Jonathan studied theatre at Northwestern University, where he graduated with a Bachelor's in Theatre and a Certificate in Musical Theatre. At Northwestern, he studied with Chicago mainstays including David H. Bell, Dominic Missimi, Amanda Dehnert, and Cindy Gold. He received a comprehensive education on everything from performance to directing and choreography. He took on an active role in Northwestern's student theatre community (STUCO) including artistic producing the Jewish Theatre Ensemble's Seussical The Musical and choreographing Arts Alliance's Kiss Of The Spider Woman. He also helped create new works as part of the American Musical Theatre Project (AMTP) with Broadway composers Neil Bartram and Brian Hill on their musical, Not Wanted On The Voyage, and 4 years with Northwestern's legendary Waa-Mu show.
Jonathan has had the great privilege to work at many theatres across the country, including Drury Lane Oakbrook Theatre (Singin' In The Rain, Gypsy, The Hot Mikado), The Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire (Once On This Island), The Paramount Theatre (42nd Street), The Tony Award winning Lookingglass Theatre Company (The Great Fire), as well as summers at the Little Theatre on the Square (Cats, Footloose, Oklahoma, The Producers, Joseph...Dreamcoat) and Stages St. Louis (Legally Blonde, My Fair Lady, How To $ucceed, Fiddler On The Roof, Anything Goes, Mamma Mia). He spent three years at sea with Disney Cruise Line portraying Aladdin, Naveen, and Simba, among others, in four mainstage shows on the Disney Dream (Beauty and the Beast, The Golden Mickeys, Villains Tonight, and Believe), and most recently, spent the last year as the Singer/Dancer on the Celebrity Equinox cruise ship sailing the Eastern and Western Caribbean islands.
